Custom Living
and Kitchen Design
A project born from the balance between aesthetics and functionality, identity and everyday practicality. This fully bespoke interior by Ciani Casa Design focused on the living area and kitchen of a contemporary home, creating spaces that are coherent in design yet distinct in materials, volumes, and finishes.
Color consistency and tailored craftsmanship enhanced the spaces with custom-made solutions. Every element was crafted in-house—from design and 3D rendering to artisan production and installation.
Approximately 120 hours were spent on the design, production, and installation.
1. Custom Kitchen with Central Island
The functional core of the home is a tailor-made L-shaped kitchen with a central island. The base units and tall cabinets feature a combination of soft-touch aqua green lacquer and natural wood, creating a refined and modern contrast. Worktops and the integrated sink are in white Corian, a durable and hygienic material—Ciani Casa is a certified member of the Corian Quality Network.
A suspended matte black extractor hood completes the island visually and functionally. High-end built-in appliances—including a double oven—are seamlessly integrated into the overall layout, along with custom storage modules.
2. Living Area with Blue Bookcase and TV Wall
The living area features a large soft-touch matte blue bookcase, custom-fitted to the room’s dimensions. The design accounts for the radiator and door openings with millimetric precision. A built-in ladder allows access to the upper shelves, while a foldaway table and integrated power outlets add practicality.
Next to it, a natural wood TV wall unit completes the composition, with flush doors and push-to-open mechanisms for a clean, refined look.
3. Custom Sliding Glass Partition
A custom-made sliding glass partition with a powder-coated metal frame separates the kitchen from the living area. This movable solution isolates the two rooms when needed without disrupting light or visual continuity. Natural light flows freely, while the division of spaces supports functional needs throughout the day.
4. Material Choices and Project Consistency
This project is unified by a thoughtful selection of materials and contrasting finishes: soft-touch lacquered surfaces, natural wood, and white Corian alternate throughout the space to form a cohesive visual language. Each element is designed for durability, usability, and visual harmony—where architecture and interior design interact seamlessly.
5. Integrated Design Process
As with every Ciani Casa Design project, the process is entirely managed in-house—from spatial analysis and 3D modeling to material selection, production, and final installation. A complete artisan-driven pipeline capable of adapting to every design and functional requirement.
