The bookshelf, featuring mechanically activated Hafele lighting, is a perfect example of how design and functionality can coexist harmoniously. It is composed of open spaces and covered sections in a play of geometries, custom-designed in soft-touch lacquered MDF in two different shades of gray.

Approximately 20 hours were spent on the design, production, and installation.

1.   Custom Bookshelf Design
The design process for this custom bookshelf began with a clear concept: to create a piece of furniture that is both functional and aesthetically pleasing. By using soft-touch lacquered MDF in two different shades of gray, we achieved an interesting visual contrast. The geometric play of open spaces and covered sections allows for the display of decorative items while concealing what you don’t want to be seen.

2.  Bookshelf Production with Integrated Lighting
The production phase of the bookshelf took around 20 hours, during which every detail was meticulously crafted. The soft-touch lacquered MDF not only provides a smooth and pleasant surface to the touch but also offers superior durability. The integrated Hafele lighting, with mechanical activation, was installed to ensure that each section of the bookshelf is well-lit, adding a touch of modernity and practicality.
 

3.  Bookshelf Assembly and Finishing
The assembly of the bookshelf was carried out by a team of experts, ensuring that each component was perfectly aligned and fully functional. The two different shades of gray in the soft-touch lacquered MDF create a dynamic and sophisticated effect. The open and closed spaces were strategically positioned to offer maximum versatility and a clean, modern aesthetic.

 

4. Harmony Between Functionality and Design

The bookshelf with integrated lighting is not just a piece of furniture but a true design element that enhances the environment. The combination of open and closed spaces provides the possibility to personalize the organization of displayed items. The mechanically activated Hafele lighting ensures that every corner of the bookshelf is perfectly illuminated, enhancing both functionality and aesthetics.
